The pencils from which the graphite fleet is sculpted were previously used to make rubbings of fossilized waves in a dry riverbed at Gifberg.

Art, for me, happens at the intersection of energies emitted by the artist, including those of perception and interpretation, and those emanating from nature. It is a dynamic site to which the viewer contributes.
