The natural world and its landscapes hold a fascination that is inexhaustible. My work on sound and landscape reflects a constant echoing between the human being and environment. I found a strong evocation of this potential in a sonogram of the birth cry of a baby. In collaboration with other artists this led to an installation at the Mother Nature exhibition at the Sasol Gallery in Stellenbosch in 2010
