The natural world and its landscapes hold a fascination that is inexhaustible. My current work on sound and landscape reflects a constant echo between artist and environment.
The graphite fleet consists of small boats, made from pencils mounted on carbon rods. They form a grass-land of vessels that are set in motion at the slightest approach. The installation was shown at the Red Black and White Gallery, Stellenbosch in 2009. Next to them is a Christina Bryer shadow installation
